MedVenture Partners, Inc., a venture capital firm focused on investments in the medical device sector, has successfully completed the final closing of MPI-2 Investment Limited Partnership with an aggregated commitment of 9.9 Billion JPY. MPI-2 Investment Limited Partnership has already completed investments in eight startup companies both in Japan and overseas, of which one has already successfully exited through an acquisition by a large medical device corporation.
