MPI President Hajime Oshita and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Fumiaki Ikeno coordinated and delivered lectures at the “New Ecosystem For Medical Device Innovation” conference held at Tohoku University on October 3rd, 2014. The purpose of the conference was to initiate the building of an ecosystem for medical device innovation in Japan by collaborating with the Stanford Biodesign program, incubators from Silicon Valley, Japanese government authorities and medical device manufacturers.
